The Michigan Department of Education has once again partnered with Project Tomorrow to offer State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs) for those who participate in the 2014 Speak Up Survey. The Speak Up survey provides a way for students, parents, educators, and the community to inform local decisions about technology, as well as contribute to the state and national dialogue regarding educational technology. The survey opened October 6, 2014 and the window will close December 19, 2014. Teachers and administrators can earn 3 SCECHs by participating in the survey.
In order to receive the SCECHs, teachers must also have their students participate in the survey and administrators must share their school’s or district’s survey results with the community. After taking the survey, an exit page will ask for further information if you wish to earn SCECHs. MDE also encourages parents and the community to take the survey. To participate in the survey and learn more, please go to Speak Up 4 Schools.
