If you are interested in what constitutes a high quality online digital course and earning a little extra summer money then please consider becoming part of the Digital Content Management and Deliver Course Review Team.
Courses recently developed under the Data Service Collaborative Grant need to go through a course review process to validate the quality of the course and the digital resources that are part of the course. The review will follow the Quality Matters protocol and rubric and focus on digital course design not the delivery of the course.
We are looking for 27 teachers who are interested in being trained to review digital courses. Reviewers will work in teams of three, but independently have choice of time, place, and pace to accomplish the task.
Face-to-face training at Kent ISD – May 13th 9a-3pm (substitute reimbursement is available and lunch provided). If you cannot make the face-to-face training, an online training is available.
Course Review will begin June 8th, each reviewer will be assigned two courses to review. Reviewers will work in teams of three so each course will have three independent scores. Each Course reviews is expected to take 10-15 hours and needs to be completed within a five day window (Course 1 review June 8-June 13th, Course 2 review June 16th-June 21st)
