WHAT IS THE BRING A BUDDY SCHOLARSHIP?
This scholarship provides financial support to attend a Michigan state/regional conference within driving distance with the stipulation that the EdTech Leader who receives the award will bring a colleague with them under the same scholarship.
WHY DOES THE SCHOLARSHIP EXIST?
It is increasingly difficult for local districts to provide financial support (including sub costs) for local EdTech Leaders to attend some of the fantastic conference opportunities in and around Michigan. Even more difficult is the ability for that leader to translate their conference experiences to others. By having the financial support to attend and bring a colleague to a Michigan EdTech conference, the collaborative energy of this experience will be amplified and more impactful at the local level.
